About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio. This is a Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler position with weekly pay up to $26 per hour, including productivity incentives. The base pay is $23.00 per hour, with a $.50 increase after 6 months and 1 year. Overtime pay is $34.50 per hour. Additional pay includes monthly attendance bonuses and a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, and 180 days. Daily pay access is available. You can build your perfect schedule with flexible options on the Day shift: B: Wed-Sat 4:30 am - 4:00 pm OR B: Wed-Sat 5:30 am - 5:00 pm, working 44-55 hours per week with 11-hour shifts. A 2-month schedule is given in advance for family planning. Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products being handled include Yogurt, and the equipment used is Stand-Up Forklifts. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks.
Responsible for dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
Performs other duties as assigned.
