About The Position
Westaff is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate in North Haven, CT. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $17.50/hr. This role involves performing general warehouse duties, operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks, using RF scanners, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Forklift and pallet jack experience required
- Ability to lift, move, and stack materials throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent attendance is mandatory
Nice To Haves
- RF scanning experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties including picking, stocking, and organizing inventory
- Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing
- Wrap pallets, stage materials, and assist with loading/unloading
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
