About The Position

West Red Lake Gold Mines is a publicly traded gold company focused on its flagship Madsen Mine in the Red Lake Gold District. After acquiring the mine in 2023, the Company spent two years building key workflows, infrastructure, and advancing exploration across its 47-sq. km land package, with operations ramping up in H2 2025 and declaration of commercial production in January 2026. Looking ahead, a 2026 Prefeasibility Study aims to support doubling production from ~45,000 oz/year through development of the Rowan deposit, expansion at Madsen, and continued exploration to unlock additional gold across the property. The successful candidate provides high quality service and support to the Purchasing & Warehouse functions. Warehouse Foreman will work locally on a 5-2, 4-3, 9 hour days schedule.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mining equipment, Suppliers and Materials is required
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and industry best practices.
  • Experience in Inventory Control processes and attention to detail is required
  • Relevant warehouse experience with previous supervisory experience
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and decision-making skills required
  • Ability to effectively deal with high pressure environments and tight deadlines
  • Good computer system proficiency with Purchasing software and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel spreadsheets is required
  • Excellent Safety record
  • High level of organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates safety leadership by promoting safe work practices, all safety procedures and continuous learning.
  • Ensure all material storage areas are organized and compliant with safety standards.
  • Maintain adequate storage conditions and ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading activities.
  • Plan, approve and maintain the work schedule of the warehouse technicians.
  • Provide hands‑on guidance to warehouse staff by coaching, corrective actions, and training team members on equipment used
  • Oversee the proper storage, handling, and movement of materials
  • Oversee receiving and distributing materials shipped to site, comparing received POs in ERP to packing slips, bill of lading.
  • Oversee maintaining inventory level using max/min system, internal inventory issuances, inventory counts.
  • Data entry – Creation of new inventory items in the system and other system maintenance as required.
  • Mass uploads of Data to support Supply Chain functions
  • Shipping material off site and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Manage the materials receiving workflow by ensuring accurate documentation, applying quality‑control practices, resolving procurement and accounting discrepancies, and reporting damages or shortages promptly.
  • Maintain secure and well‑operated warehouse facilities by controlling access, supporting end users in material retrieval, coordinating inspections, sustaining cleanliness and organization, and leading stocktaking and cycle‑count activities.
  • Oversee creation of SOPs when required.
  • Month end inventory reporting
