Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or technical training in Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in facility or maintenance operations, preferably in a warehouse or food distribution environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of building systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC equipment.
  • Understanding of workplace safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to lead, train, and coordinate maintenance teams across shifts.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform maintenance tasks on facility systems, including refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and material handling equipment.
  • Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist in coordinating repairs, upgrades, and vendor/contractor activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, USDA, FDA).
  • Monitor facility conditions and promptly report issues requiring management attention.
  • Provide guidance and daily direction to maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure facilities meet service and operational needs.
