About The Position

The Warehouse A Employee is tasked with operating all machines, except Slitters; performs all warehouse and non-machine functions. This involves material handling functions, packaging operations, shipping/receiving, order filling inventory and routine equipment maintenance.

Requirements

High school education or GED required.
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work on your feet on a concrete floor for the entire shift.
Ability to effectively communicate with others.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be licensed for forklift and overhead crane operation.
Must be able to enter data in or operating system.

Responsibilities

Operates automatic banders efficiently.
Responsible for safely maneuvering overhead cranes to transport raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods throughout the plant.
Utilize transfer buggies to transport materials within the facility, ensuring proper staging for efficient workflow.
Safely operate forklifts to remove scrap materials and deposit them in designated outside scrap roll-off boxes.
Interpreting and comprehending processing orders to ensure accurate selection of materials for processing.
Efficiently loads and unloads trucks.
Handles unloading of lumber and skids.
Receives and stores supplies.
Ensures cleanliness by removing scrap from the floor.
Organizes skidded material storage.
Utilizes scanning technology for accurate placement of materials.
Adheres to assigned duties and responsibilities.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S guidelines.
Maintains strict compliance with safety protocols outlined in the Plant Employee handbook.
Meets attendance standards as per the Attendance Policy.
Additional tasks as required.
