About The Position

As a Warehouse Employee at Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea, you will support Packaging and Shipping/Receiving functions within a coffee roasting facility. The role includes packaging roasted coffee, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, performing quality audits, and upholding cleanliness standards in a food-grade environment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime possible. Compensation is $20.48 per hour. This position and its responsibilities are governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees will not be assigned duties outside their classification without proper consultation and agreement with union representation. Cross-training and task rotation will be offered in accordance with seniority rules and union guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or working toward completion.
• Strong work ethic and urgency for same-day or next-day fulfillment.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to read and process pick lists, roast reports, and customer orders.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Good hand dexterity and ability to reach above and below shoulder height.
• Customer-focused mindset and pride in product quality.
• Follow the applicable collective bargaining agreement and classification requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food processing or warehouse environments.
• Forklift experience, if within classification.

Responsibilities

• Package roasted coffee and related products according to company and regulatory standards.
• Execute work orders assigned by the Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.
• Enter packaging data into NetSuite as required by product classification.
• Perform routine quality audits to verify packaging accuracy, seal integrity, and product presentation.
• Follow food safety and regulatory protocols and meet packaging KPIs and quality standards.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload delivery trucks according to safety procedures.
• Audit outbound shipments for order accuracy, packaging condition, and labeling, and meet shipping/receiving KPIs.
• Follow inventory processes, including FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy as assigned.
• Record inventory movements in warehouse systems when applicable.
• Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, shared spaces, and warehouse areas.
• Follow sanitation and GMP protocols to maintain a food-grade environment.
• Support pest control and contamination prevention efforts.
• Perform cleanliness audits to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
• Maintain supplies and report maintenance needs.
• Participate in cross-training and task rotation in accordance with seniority rules and union guidelines.
