About The Position

The Warehouse Employee works under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, Assistant Manager, or Team Leader. The role is responsible for unloading and loading trucks, picking and putting away tires and other products, and supporting accurate warehouse operations. Employees use provided equipment and tools to verify, pick, store, and ship products; keep items in designated locations with tags visible; and maintain a clean, organized warehouse. The role also includes receiving loads through product-number verification and check-in, fulfilling Amazon and Walmart orders, and loading route trucks. Employees are expected to work safely, support company decisions and goals, and uphold K&M values.

The position is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The warehouse is not climate controlled and may be cold in winter and hot in summer.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a multitasking environment and prioritize and organize effectively.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, including 50 pounds continuously.

• Ability to safely operate a forklift, tire cart, pallet jack, and order picker.
• Ability to learn and use scanning devices to accurately confirm tires and shipments.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with cold winter and hot summer temperatures.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist with loading semi-trailers and route trucks.
• Use equipment and tools accurately and safely to verify, pick, and put away tires and other products.
• Keep tires and products in designated locations with tags visible, and restock as needed.
• Work safely, including proper use of equipment seat belts and order-picker harnesses.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Receive loads by verifying product numbers and checking in products.
• Pick and ship Amazon and Walmart orders.
• Load route trucks.
• Support the Warehouse Manager’s decisions and company goals, uphold K&M values, and perform other assigned duties.
