About The Position

The Warehouse Driver drives company vehicles over established routes to deliver products to GSS customers. They maintain records of deliveries and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery. Utilizing warehouse equipment, they follow safety protocols and procedures, safely moving shipments and loading vehicles for deliveries. The successful candidate will be a reliable and safety oriented team player possessing strong communication skills. They will excel at providing an exceptional customer service experience through timely deliveries to the extensive GSS customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Clean driving record, free of major violations such as DWI, reckless driving, etc.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL B)
• HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.
• Safety-oriented, familiar with OSHA and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to deliver products to customers.
• Follow safety and regulatory protocols for the handling of HAZMAT shipments and deliveries. Ensure proper labels are placed on chemical shipments.
• Document delivery information on daily records and obtain customer signatures to document acceptance of delivery.
• Prepare delivery documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act swiftly to resolve service concerns or issues.
• Pick up product returns from customers.
• Maintain the upkeep of trucks, while loading and unloading items.
• Perform routine maintenance on truck.
• Use warehouse machinery to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platforms to storage, work area, and delivery truck. Follow all required safety protocols and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
