About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Driver to join a team in the door manufacturing and distribution industry. The role delivers doors and related products to customer sites and supports general warehouse duties, including loading and unloading, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized facility. The position operates company vehicles, typically box trucks or flatbeds, and handles warehouse materials using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Work is primarily indoors in an industrial environment with concrete flooring, with infrequent outdoor exposure and possible exposure to dust or paint fumes. The role may involve occasional work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts. Required PPE includes steel-toe boots, safety glasses, safety gloves, and other equipment as required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role; experience in the door or building materials industry is preferred.
Ability to safely operate delivery trucks; a CDL may be required depending on vehicle size.
Experience loading and handling large, heavy, or fragile products such as doors, frames, or hardware.
Experience using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Ability to work independently, meet delivery schedules, and provide excellent customer service.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license; a CDL may be required for larger vehicles.
Clean driving record and knowledge of safe driving practices.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, power tools, and RF scanners.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Basic computer skills for inventory management.
Ability to work in hot and cold outdoor weather conditions.
Ability to use required PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and safety gloves; protective sleeves may be required depending on location.
Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds; ability to lift, push, or pull 50–100 pounds frequently and consistently.
Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day.
Ability to push or pull up to 200 pounds.
Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and good hearing and verbal communication.
Ability to occasionally sit, climb, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and lift over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, typically box trucks or flatbeds, to deliver doors and building materials to customers and job sites.
Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed on schedule.
Verify delivery contents against paperwork or invoices.
Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.
Follow DOT and company safety regulations.
Load and unload materials manually or using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
Pick and stage products for deliveries or customer pickups.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Fabricate or alter products.
Adhere to OSHA requirements and certificates.
Wear required PPE at all times.
