About The Position

Family owned and operated tire distribution facility seeks delivery driver/warehouse associate. Duties include (but are not limited to) unloading and loading trucks, driving box trucks/vans to deliver merchandise to customers, collecting payment at time of delivery, interacting with customers, forklift use, pulling orders and putting away stock, general clean up and organization, etc. Parrish Tire Company is a family-owned company that focuses on serving both our customers and our employees. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
Clean driving record
For insurance purposes, applicants must be 21 years or older

Lifting and carrying – the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly.
Standing and walking – this position will require standing and walking for periods of time
Bending and stooping – bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position.
Reaching and pushing/pulling – the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities.
Sitting – there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time.
This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a driving role
Forklift experience (onsite training certification available)

Responsibilities

Assist the Warehouse Manager and/or Store Manager in shipping and receiving customer tires
Load, unload, stack and lift tires
Use of certain warehouse equipment, including forklift operation
Retain forklift certification
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas
Driving box trucks/vans to deliver merchandise to customers
Collecting payment at time of delivery
Interacting with customers
Pulling orders and putting away stock
General clean up and organization
