About The Position

Hammond Services is growing, and we are looking for qualified Warehouse Drivers who want to grow with us! We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979. We are a well-established and respected Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical company that takes pride in everything we do. We offer stable, year-round work with opportunities for growth and advancement. This position will require travel to our Griffin office for on-the-job training (up to 6 weeks).

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 points
Must be 22+ years of age (to be insured by the company)
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience for a company (insurance requirement)
Clean driving record and strong safety awareness
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to work required hours and participate in on-call rotation as needed
Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Basic computer proficiency
Familiarity with Austell and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse or delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely transport materials, equipment, and supplies between the warehouse, job sites, and vendors
Ensure all deliveries are accurate, timely, and properly documented
Load and unload materials, ensuring items are secured and protected during transport
Assist with pulling, staging, and loading materials for HVAC, Electrical and plumbing jobs
Pick up and return parts/equipment from vendors as directed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and assist with basic vehicle upkeep (fueling, cleaning, etc.)
Support warehouse operations including stocking, inventory management, and material handling
Assist warehouse team and field personnel as needed
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, yard, and work areas
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Other duties as assigned
