About The Position

A Warehouse Driver at Universal Orlando will complete shipments by pulling, processing, loading and delivering orders. This role involves preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, and placing orders in the delivery area and on delivery vehicles. The driver will complete deliveries by driving a truck to and from the warehouse and retail customers, and will maintain the truck by completing preventive maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs, and completing all logs and certifications. Additionally, the role involves maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests, and maintaining quality service by following organization standards. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, maintaining a clean shipping supply area, and complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures, rules, and regulations. The driver will also complete reports by entering required information. The role requires driving the vehicle 20% of the time and loading/unloading the vehicle 80% of the time. The team member will understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • 0-1 year general warehousing – receiving, shipping, and route deliveries.
  • CDL Class B or better with airbrake endorsement

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 Years CDL Class B or better with driving experience of 26’ box truck or larger; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous warehouse and catering experience.
