About The Position

This role is responsible for delivering HVAC parts to customers, ensuring accuracy of deliveries, and maintaining the warehouse. The driver will follow supervisor directions for routes and delivery instructions, perform daily vehicle inspections, and assist with loading and unloading trucks. Quality control of inventory and warehouse organization are key aspects of this position. The role also involves cleaning duties and safe operation of warehouse equipment.

Requirements

A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
Clean Motor Vehicle/Driving Record
Must be able to communicate well with others.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
Basic typing/10-key skills.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC Wholesale environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver HVAC parts to customers
Ensure all items on truck are accounted for
Follow supervisors’ directions to ensure correct routes and delivery instructions
Complete daily Vehicle Maintenance Inspections
Verify vehicle has sufficient fuel and use gas card for fueling
Assist in loading and unloading of all trucks
Report any order issues or shorts to Manager
Perform quality control on all items going out for delivery, ensuring accuracy of pick list
Ensure warehouse is in proper order (clean, debris picked up, forklifts in proper charging area etc.) before the end of each shift
Clean and sanitize restrooms and counter areas
Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)
Follow the PWM’s (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse
Ensure all Safety Procedures followed
Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Perform additional duties as assigned by Manager
