About The Position
The Parts Runner is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of parts and materials between the warehouse, job sites, and other locations as needed. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining efficient operations by ensuring that necessary components are available when and where they are required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and materials (up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of automotive, industrial, or construction parts (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and supplies to and from the warehouse, job sites, or vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including signing off on invoices and ensuring correct quantities.
- Assist in organizing and stocking warehouse inventory when not making deliveries.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts and materials are in good condition before delivery.
- Load and unload parts safely, following proper handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, technicians, and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Follow all safety and company policies while performing job duties.
