About The Position
We are seeking a Warehouse/Driver Associate to support both warehouse operations and local deliveries. This position is ideal for someone with Non-CDL driving experience, warehouse experience, and forklift experience. When deliveries are not scheduled, this individual will assist with warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, inventory organization, and general warehouse operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of driving experience
- Current Class C driver's license
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Warehouse experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Active Medical Examiner's Card
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer knowledge preferred
- Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stoop, bend, twist, and spend extended periods sitting and driving
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle in varying weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safe work practices
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to hire
- Must provide an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with resume submission
Nice To Haves
- Current sit-down forklift certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver products and merchandise to customer job sites in a safe and efficient manner
- Unload merchandise at customer delivery locations
- Off-load inbound freight trucks and verify incoming shipments
- Receive, stock, organize, and put away merchandise in designated warehouse locations
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and other warehouse functions as assigned
- Operate a sit-down forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Maintain all required DOT documentation, logs, inspections, and OSHA safety requirements
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Support warehouse operations during periods when deliveries are not required
