About The Position

CXI Trucking, an LTL (Less-than-Truckload) trucking and warehousing company in Melrose Park, IL, is seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Dockworker to join our team. This role focuses on receiving, counting, and reloading industrial freight using sit-down propane forklifts and high reach lifts in a cross-dock and warehouse environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience in LTL trucking/warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current certification to operate sit-down propane forklift and high-reach lift (required).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receive freight shipments into the cross-dock and warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including descriptions, quantities, and locations.
• Load and unload trucks/trailers with customer shipments, materials, and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and accountability.
