About The Position
Van Kam Freightways Ltd. has immediate availability for a full-time warehouse dock worker in their Prince George terminal. This position requires previous freight handling/warehouse experience and experience handling hazardous materials. The successful candidate(s) will be working in a high-pressure, high-volume atmosphere with critical time frames. Training will be provided.
Requirements
- Previous freight handling/warehouse experience
- Experience handling hazardous materials
- Ability to work a schedule of Sunday to Thursday

- Current forklift operator certificate
Responsibilities
- Cross dock all LTL freight
- Ensure schedules depart on time
- Achieve a high level of load factor
- Perform quality loading to minimize damages
