DSV is seeking a Warehouse Dock Coordinator for their 2nd shift operations. This role is responsible for various warehouse functions including picking, quality control, safety, housekeeping, compliance, and equipment operation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.
  • English language proficiency (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities, counting inventory, and other related duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21-50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months of experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
  • Current or prior MHE certification.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick orders using a pallet jack to fulfill client demands.
  • Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in appropriate areas.
  • Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products according to client requirements.
  • Ensure all picking functions are processed as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Use appropriate documentation to ensure correct receiving, handling, and shipping of products and orders.
  • Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards.
  • Report any damages or discrepancies.
  • Execute all safety protocols and promote safety in all job tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and work area.
  • Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
  • Operate equipment such as a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain equipment and report any equipment problems.
  • Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work overtime as dictated by business needs.
