About The Position

The Warehouse Distributor is responsible for receiving, inventorying, rotating, labeling, and stocking product delivered by the Food and Beverage Warehouse. This role ensures that products are managed efficiently using the FIFO method, temperatures are monitored for safety, and the work area is kept clean and organized. The position also involves coordinating deliveries, verifying received items against pick tickets, and adhering to Environmental, Health & Safety policies.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required
  • Valid FLDL Required

  • Prior food service experience, including knowledge of HACCP

Responsibilities

  • Use FIFO to place new product behind existing product so that oldest items get used first and properly labeled.
  • Coordinates pallet delivery drop times and locations for the Warehouse.
  • Ensures that the venues are prepared to receive a delivery.
  • Match product that is received to the pick ticket and informs management of any errors with picks, missing items, or extra items.
  • Monitor temperatures of non-shelf-stable items.
  • Report any items that are not within the proper temperature range.
  • Ensure that all food products are handled in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Ensure that all chemicals are kept separate from food items, and are handled with care.
  • Organize and clean area after completing the delivery for the venue.
  • Ensure that drop area is prepared for the Warehouse to pick up any items to be returned (pallets, trams, kegs, crates, bread racks, etc).
  • Work with Warehouse on completing any all deliveries including Drop shipments and Production Kitchen trams.
  • Assist with picking up sweep (kegs, pallets, trams, etc).
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
