About The Position

Modern Chevrolet Parts Warehouse has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Night Dispatcher to assist with a growing collision, mechanical, and powertrain parts business.

Requirements

• Prior dispatch and logistical experience are a plus.
• Attention to detail.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• Team player
• Comfortable with technology.

Responsibilities

• Make sure all routes are covered each day
• Make adjustments and substitute when drivers need to be off
• Trace down any problems of shortages and contact the appropriate people
• Arrange for pickups at dealers and tire distributers
• Make sure all parts get to the correct hub each night
• Straighten up route bins double checking nothing was missorted
• Run a truck of parts to necessary hub if there is a driver absence or the linehaul blown out
• Clean up manifest. Add or remove any shipments for the next day
• Prepare manifest before the driver leaves for their route. Adding or deleting any shipments necessary
• Ensure each driver has a vehicle for their route
• Handle all communication with linehaul and early morning drivers
• Relay any vital information to necessary personal at end of shift
• Manage company phone during shift for call outs, linehaul or shipping issues
