About The Position
This is an independent contractor role for warehouse and delivery duties in Elmhurst, IL. The shift is from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Responsibilities include palletizing and shrink-wrapping cartons, loading pallets onto a 26’ straight truck (company vehicle), driving to an off-site facility for unloading, and assisting the warehouse crew with sorting and staging cartons on pallets.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Previous experience driving a 26’ straight truck required
- Previous experience working in a warehouse required
- 21 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Palletize and shrink wrap cartons
- Load pallets onto a 26’ straight truck
- Drive vehicle to off-site facility (7 miles roundtrip)
- Offload pallets
- Assist warehouse crew in sort and staging cartons on to pallets
