About The Position
The role of the Temporary/Seasonal Delivery Driver will be focused on picking and loading product into a cargo van and then delivering to customers. This position will be approximately three months. It is expected to start on or about October 1st and end approximately December 31st. This is a part-time, 30-hour per week position. Five days per week, Monday through Friday. Hours will be approximately 8 AM until 2 PM.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 70 pounds (multiple times per day)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to climb stairs and other physical requirements
- Strict attention to detail, organization and professionalism
- Actively seeks solutions to problems before being asked or directed
- Personable, customer-centric, honest and trustworthy
- Self-motivated, energetic and hardworking
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Load, unloading of delivery vans and deliver products to various customers
- Ensure proper procedures are followed when product is moved out of the warehouse
- Ensure accurate inventory counts
- Assist customer with orders at the delivery point
- Communicate issues with management
- Other duties as assigned
