About The Position

The Warehouse/Delivery Driver is responsible for receiving and processing inbound and outbound freight/furniture as well as storing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The position loads and unloads shipments, as well as verifies that shipments are correct and contents are undamaged. Processes inbound freight; unloads incoming trucks, verifies quantities received and checks for damage; reports damaged or missing products; reconciles product count against packing list; signs off on paperwork when received freight is fully reconciled. Stages and organizes incoming inventory by purchase order and stocks/stores in proper locations in warehouse. Deliver supplies to client sites, including construction and refinery locations. Will ensure client receives product in timely manner, and signs off on ticket that product was received. Will notify warehouse of any delivery delays or issues with delivery, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Will assist with walk in customers, and any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • TWIC Card
  • Previous warehouse and delivery experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including hot and humid weather as well as cold weather
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and climb
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods up to 8 hours daily
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Reliable and a team player
  • Adherence to all warehouse, client site, and road safety rules

  • Assisting with walk-in customers
  • Performing other duties assigned by Supervisor
