About The Position
This is a full-time position responsible for delivering and picking up copiers and printers. The role involves driving a 26ft box truck, managing inventory, operating warehouse machinery, and ensuring accurate shipment records. The position requires adherence to warehouse policies and procedures, including safety protocols. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must maintain valid driver’s license at all times.
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday.
- Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, unboxing equipment and racking machines.
- Experience using FedEx Ship Manager system.
- Experience maintaining accurate inventory records through use of a computerized inventory system.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up copiers and printers.
- Drive a 26ft box truck.
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Prepare and load parcels for mailing.
- Receive, unload, inspect, verify, and warehouse items shipped to the warehouse.
- Maintain log of incoming and outgoing freight at the warehouse.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, unboxing equipment and racking machines to move and store equipment.
- Use FedEx Ship Manager system to enter and track shipment records.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through use of a computerized inventory system.
- Sweep, dust and mop; organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Follow all warehouse policies and procedures; wear the proper safety equipment.
- Communicate with Management and Sales via email, phone, and in person.
