About The Position

We are an auto glass company looking for a Fulfillment Driver. We focus on auto glass but are much more than that. We aim to help you build a fulfilling career and encourage you to have a life. We want to be the best place you'll ever work. This role ensures that all inventory is safely and securely loaded and properly labeled for distribution with appropriate care. The driver will transport and unload inventory from the warehouse to retail locations and load return inventory from stores back to the warehouse. Accuracy of inventory for all deliveries and returns is crucial. The role also involves identifying, documenting, and reporting any missing, lost, or damaged materials. Depending on operational needs, the driver may also perform inbound (receiving and stocking parts) and outbound (picking and packing inventory for shipment) tasks when not driving. A routine pre-trip vehicle safety inspection is required, and any necessary vehicle maintenance needs must be reported to the manager. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Preferred
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and other license(s) (as required by federal, state, and local laws) to operate a company vehicle
  • 1-3 years Relevant experience
  • Drivers license, required
  • Ability to work at a physical distribution location.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and courteously, adhering to all Company policies and procedures relating to safety. This includes obeying all traffic laws and regulations and maintaining a valid driver’s license with a driving record that falls within the Company requirements.
  • Ability to pass MVR and operate a company vehicle
  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions in warehouse and dock areas (seasonal heat and cold in environment that is not air conditioned).
  • Ability to satisfy all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements as outlined in the Field Supplemental Handbook (i.e., ability to wear safety glasses while working in the distribution center)
  • Must be able to operate or have the ability to learn to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including picker and sit-down forklift for the entire duration of the shift.
  • Associate must weigh under 300lbs in order to abide by safety standards when using the MHE equipment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to complete all assigned training and certifications within the allotted timeframe

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all inventory is safely and securely loaded and properly labeled for distribution with appropriate care.
  • Transports and unloads inventory from the warehouse to retail locations.
  • Loads return inventory at the stores for transportation and unloads upon arrival to warehouse.
  • Ensures inventory accuracy for all deliveries and returns.
  • Identifies, documents, and reports any missing, lost, or damaged materials.
  • May perform inbound (receiving parts and stocking parts) and outbound (inventory picking, packing of inventory to be shipped) as needed to support the operation when not completing driving activities.
  • Perform routine pre-trip vehicle safety inspection in accordance with company policy and notify manager of any necessary vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Other duties assigned by management.
