About The Position

As an integral member of our operations team, the Warehouse & Delivery Associate is primarily responsible for safely and efficiently picking up, transporting, and delivering materials, tools, equipment, and supplies between vendors, QTC facilities, and active construction job sites. This position also supports warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, staging, loading, unloading, and tracking materials and equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining clear communication with vendors, warehouse personnel, project teams, and field employees.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse, delivery, construction, logistics, or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred; training may be provided.
  • Experience driving company trucks or towing trailers preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up materials, tools, equipment, and supplies from vendors and suppliers.
  • Deliver materials and equipment to active job sites, QTC headquarters, warehouse locations, and other designated facilities.
  • Review pickup and delivery instructions to ensure materials are transported to the correct location.
  • Verify materials, quantities, and documentation against purchase orders, packing slips, delivery tickets, or pickup instructions.
  • Inspect materials and equipment for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies before accepting or delivering them.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Obtain and maintain receipts, signatures, delivery confirmations, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate pickup and delivery status, delays, shortages, damaged materials, or other concerns to the Warehouse Manager and appropriate project personnel.
  • Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, vendors, and warehouse staff regarding material needs and delivery schedules.
  • Plan efficient driving routes while remaining flexible to changing priorities and urgent requests.
  • Maintain company vehicles in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform basic inspections of assigned company vehicles and promptly report maintenance, mechanical, or safety concerns.
  • Receive, unload, inspect, label, and organize incoming warehouse materials and deliveries.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for upcoming projects and scheduled deliveries.
  • Assist with loading and unloading company trucks, trailers, and vendor vehicles.
  • Organize warehouse inventory and return materials and equipment to their designated storage locations.
  • Assist with inventory counts and the tracking of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist with tool and equipment check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized.
  • Follow all company safety policies, vehicle requirements, and applicable job-site rules.
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with vendors, customers, field personnel, and other employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.
