About The Position

This is a Warehouse DC manager position in the wholesale tire distribution industry for our K&M Tire location located in Richmond VA. Tri-Jay Tire Distributors Inc. DBA K&M Tire / Southeastern Wholesale Tire was founded in 1985 and is an independent family-owned wholesale tire distributor serving tire dealers in 5 states. We have 5 wholesale distribution warehouses: Hickory NC, Richmond VA, Walterboro SC, Raleigh NC, and Greenville NC. This person must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer Service oriented
• Problem solving for logistics
• Ability to commute/relocate: Richmond, VA 23230: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
• English (Preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Management: 5 years (Preferred)
• Forklift experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage/schedule employee hours/over-time
• Schedule inbound freight loads
• Manage logistics for deliveries to customers
• Greet walk-in customers for pickup
• Manage fleet maintenance/repair
• Co-Ordinate Building Maintenance repairs as needed
• Route check-in
• Bank Deposits
• Inventory Organization
• Ensure excellent customer service
