About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated Warehouse Data Analytics Co-Op to support operational excellence and Lean initiatives within the Packaging organization. This internship offers hands-on experience leading process improvement projects, analyzing performance data, facilitating Kaizen activities, and supporting the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools in a regulated production environment. You will be responsible for supporting continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies, assisting with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities and identification of improvement opportunities, helping to prioritize, track, and execute improvement projects and action plans, supporting the development and implementation of Leader Standard Work practices, participating in Kaizen events and employee engagement activities, assisting with Lean Maturity Assessments and benchmarking initiatives, developing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and visual management tools, tracking project metrics and preparing progress updates for leadership, and supporting training, certification, and operational excellence programs.

Requirements

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, Related technical disciplines, or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
  • Ineligibility for severance.
