Warehouse Cycle Counter
About The Position
The Warehouse Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and conducting daily cycle counts, which involves repetitive counting accurately and efficiently. The role also includes performing follow-up counts to ensure accuracy, verifying product locations, resolving discrepancies, assisting with inventory analysis and quality issues, and conducting location audits. The position requires working semi-unsupervised and involves problem-solving, learning to identify various parts, using an inventory locator, identifying different types of steel (e.g., square tube, pipe, angle iron, rectangular tube), and recognizing different stages in the production process (warehouse, WIP, finish). There is a possibility of becoming forklift certified.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years’ experience in inventory and operational procedures
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Extremely organized with relentless attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of MS operating platforms a plus
