About The Position
Gordon Food Service is seeking a Warehouse Custodian to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center, ensuring smooth operations. The custodian will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and performing outdoor maintenance like snow clearing and landscaping. The position requires working in extreme temperature conditions, from -25F to 100F, and involves tasks that support the overall success of the warehouse staff and Gordon Food Service's commitment to seamless order processing and delivery.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Successfully pass a drug test.
- Successfully pass a background check.
Responsibilities
