We are looking for a Warehouse Crating & Packaging Associate to join our team. Provide support to warehouse operations through carpentry-related activities, including the construction of wooden crates, repair of damaged pallets and crates, and the safe positioning and reinforcement of glass and fragile cargo to prevent damage during handling and transportation. This position will also provide operational support within the warehouse based on business needs while strictly complying with all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience at least one year in carpentry, wooden crate manufacturing, pallet repair, or similar wood-related activities required.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools for cutting and assembly required.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic measuring and material handling skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and continuous use of PPE.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience handling or protecting glass, fragile cargo, or export packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble wooden crates and reinforcement structures for cargo protection.
  • Repair damaged pallets, crates, and packaging materials used in warehouse operations.
  • Perform safe positioning, reinforcement, and securing of glass and fragile cargo to ensure safe handling and prevent damage.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and secure wood materials using hand tools and power tools.
  • Inspect the condition and safety of wooden structures and packaging materials before operational use.
  • Provide support in warehouse operational activities based on business and operational needs.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials within the warehouse when required.
  • Maintain work areas clean and organized while following warehouse safety standards.
  • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with OSHA requirements, internal safety policies, and operational procedures.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, damaged materials, or equipment to the Warehouse Supervisor.
