About The Position

The primary function of the Warehouse Coordinator is providing expertise in coordinating the material including but not limited to, verifying, recording, routing and supporting kitting of assemblies/parts for the production lines. This position will service Production needs by cycling material and maintaining part storage rack organization and availability.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
  • Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Proven history of safe work habits
  • Computer skills – AS400, Vista, Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
  • Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Materials
  • Previous experience with AS400
  • Previous experience with Kanban
  • Ability to work within a Windows-based systems environment to include use AS400 and Vista applications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for correctly kitting: quantity, part number and purchase order to support the main kits and components used for the supply chain
  • Collect and turn in all cycled Kanban cards to Material Planner.
  • Complete Rack Audits
  • Scan Racks for Stock Out
  • Assist in material handling for production flow
  • Manage warehouse organization
  • Recognizing urgent requests from Supervisor and production employees with immediate action upon those requests.
  • Ability to support the Material Handing Team when employees are on vacation/absent.
