About The Position

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the flow of materials throughout the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating receiving, storage, inventory control, and order-picking activities while helping implement and sustain processes that support warehouse performance, accuracy, and efficiency. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with the Inventory Manager, warehouse personnel, and cross-functional teams to ensure materials are received, stored, and distributed accurately and in support of business and customer requirements. You will help identify opportunities for improvement, resolve material-related issues, and contribute to the continued development and effectiveness of warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED preferred.
  • 5 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Skilled in using computers including being proficient in Microsoft office, Excel, and Teams.
  • Oracle knowledge a plus.
  • Strong and professional interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate in a professional manner across multiple departments and communication media with changing priorities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable in Warehouse and pack out practices.
  • Capable of learning to read and understand production blueprints and routers.
  • Capable of working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment with PPE.
  • Capable of bending and lifting parts up to 50lbs.
  • Able to pass a health screening.
  • Able to stand/stoop/sit for 8 hours.
  • Capable of operating company fork trucks and capable of achieving and maintaining certification for such equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of operating systems related to Inventory, Material Handling, and Shipping functions.
  • Coordinate and prioritize the activities of warehouse personnel, helping align daily work assignments and resources to achieve operational goals, meet schedules, and address changing priorities.
  • Ensure all items are systematically received promptly upon arrival. Resolve all issues related to receiving with the purchasing team and maintain accurate logs of all receipt issues.
  • Ensure all materials are promptly and accurately stocked in their designated inventory locations and maintained in an organized, safe, and controlled manner. Materials must be properly identified and labeled, stored and rotated in accordance with established warehouse and material-handling requirements, and protected from damage or loss. Ensure quantities, part identification, and storage locations remain accurate and aligned with system inventory records.
  • Offload deliveries, confirming the packing list and MTRs against the product received. Load outgoing shipments and ensure proper shipping documentation.
  • Perform daily accurate cycle counts of on-hand quantities.
  • Maintain complete and accurate Inventory records. (RMR log, CS log, Packing lists, BOLs, etc.)
  • Direct all Shipping, Receiving and Inventory issues to your supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Assist with all other warehouse operations when required including receiving, cycle counting, shipping, stocking, etc.
  • Operate machinery in a safe manner and report any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
  • Work with others as necessary to ensure prompt processing and movement of all parts to their next location.
  • Ensure all inventory areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Be self-motivated, maintain a productive environment by bringing everybody’s ideas forward, decide on the best method so that everyone will benefit from them as a team.
  • Work extra hours daily and on weekends as required.
  • Follow and enforce all safety and environmental policies and programs; use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur.
  • Resolve problems through collaboration and sharing with teammates.
  • Be willing to be cross-trained and to train others to perform the job that is required to get the work done.
  • Assist in mentoring and training of other Warehouse personnel.
  • Interface professionally with multiple departments: Sales, Service, Shipping, Receiving, QA, Inspection, Purchasing, & Planning.
  • Secure the warehouse from loss by: Challenging unauthorized personnel upon entry as to their needs and reporting any theft, loss, or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
  • Assist Shipping Specialists in ensuring the proper priority of orders to be pulled and packaged for shipment.
  • Take ownership, organize, and maintain personal, company equipment and work area in a professional manner and attend scheduled HSE training.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required, achieve, and maintain fork truck operator certification and use safe working practices as directed.
  • Respond to after-hours calls in a timely fashion with all applicable documents, transport arrangements and inventory records. Rotational responsibility assigned if necessary.
  • Follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures, and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes and HSE requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
