About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse operations by coordinating material flow, ensuring inventory accuracy, and driving efficient execution across receiving, warehousing, and shipping functions at Greenworks’ Morristown facility. This role serves as a key link between the warehouse, production, and planning teams to ensure materials are available, accurately tracked, and moved efficiently to support production and customer delivery requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and system-based material management.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or material coordination within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Working knowledge of receiving, warehousing, and shipping processes.
  • Experience with inventory systems and transactions; TipTop or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Basic understanding of Lean principles, 5S, and warehouse best practices preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; Excel experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily inbound deliveries, scheduling dock activity and unloading to support production and warehouse capacity.
  • Verify received materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and system records to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform timely and accurate system receipts in TipTop, ensuring inventory is correctly reflected in the system.
  • Identify, document, and escalate receiving discrepancies, shortages, damages, or missing documentation.
  • Ensure received materials are properly labeled, staged, and directed to appropriate storage or point-of-use locations.
  • Coordinate the timely movement of materials from receiving and warehouse locations to production lines to support daily and weekly schedules.
  • Manage and execute inter-warehouse and internal material transfers within the system and physical locations.
  • Maintain organized storage locations with proper labeling, location control, and FIFO adherence.
  • Work closely with production and planning teams to resolve material shortages, substitutions, or priority changes.
  • Support dock, staging, and floor organization to prevent congestion or material delays.
  • Execute and support the warehouse cycle count program to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory variances between physical counts and system data.
  • Document discrepancies and participate in root cause analysis to prevent repeat issues.
  • Support physical inventory activities and audits as required.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate picking, packing, staging, and loading of outbound shipments to meet customer and production requirements.
  • Ensure orders are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with shipping instructions.
  • Support shipping documentation, labeling, and system transactions to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Assist with resolving shipment discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
  • Act as a primary liaison between warehouse, receiving, production, planning, and logistics teams.
  • Communicate material shortages, delivery delays, inventory issues, and priority changes proactively.
  • Support execution of daily and weekly production schedules through effective material coordination.
  • Participate in daily operational meetings and provide input on material readiness and risks.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Support development, implementation, and adherence to warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow, storage efficiency, and transaction accuracy.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing errors, improving efficiency, and strengthening inventory control.
