About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including staging equipment, maintaining inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. This role also involves supporting sheet metal fabrication and assisting field teams with their equipment needs. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

Current driver’s license and maintain insurability by Vredevoogd carrier
Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings
Ability to pass national background check
Strong oral and reading skills
Capability to work in Michigan environmental conditions
Strong commitment to world class customer service
Strong multi-tasking skills; phone, computer, and people skills
Build and encourage a positive work culture and be a willing and engaged team player
High school diploma or GED
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb in and out of box trucks
Ability to be flexible and effectively handle change
Ability to utilize technology for invoicing and internal/external communication
Ability to work necessary hours to meet specific organizational requirements

Responsibilities

Stage equipment and materials for daily installation jobs.
Serve as a primary warehouse contact for installation technicians.
Label and document equipment and serial numbers for each project.
Coordinate with warehouse leadership to source non-stock equipment and materials.
Maintain and update daily job tracking systems.
Organize, stock, and rotate equipment and materials.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock needs.
Receive deliveries and place inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
Pick, secure, and stage equipment for field teams.
Respond quickly to urgent equipment and material requests.
Coordinate deliveries between the warehouse, vendors, and job sites.
Ensure timely and accurate transfer of parts and equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment.
Assist with scrap metal recycling and disposal.
Keep entrances, walkways, and loading areas clear, including snow and ice removal when necessary.
Report facility maintenance concerns to warehouse leadership.
Learn and assist with basic custom sheet metal fabrication as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
