About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to coordinate daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. An ideal candidate will be able to ensure daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience working in a Warehouse setting
  • Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology
  • Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Excellent inventory methods and practices.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
  • Experience in using SAP.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse
  • Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
  • Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
  • Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
  • Mark stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electronic marking tools, or other labeling equipment
  • Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations
  • Training, delegating, and reviewing the work of lower-level employees
