About The Position

This position receives, stores and distributes materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of job functions. The role involves assisting the Department Manager and Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator with various warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and distribution. The position is based in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure and requires the use of standard office and warehouse equipment.

Requirements

MUST HAVE FORKLIFT AND LOGISTICS ADMIN EXPERIENCE.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
Ability to pass a drug test as it relates to the role.
Ability to pass a background check as it relates to the role.
Completion of an I-9 form.

Nice To Haves

Three years of prior warehouse clerk experience.
Two years of forklift and crane experience.

Responsibilities

Assist Department Manager and Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator in receiving, unloading trucks, visual inspection of and checking in distributing merchandise.
Read customer, work, or shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to designated areas.
File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping, manufacturing or to other designated area.
Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method as designated by the Department Manager and/or Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate methods.
Perform daily warehouse maintenance, cleanliness and organization activities.
Assist in counting of physical inventory.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Prepare parcels for mailing.
