About The Position

Are you knowledgeable in construction methods and most comfortable behind the wheel? If so, keep reading: We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator & Driver who will maintain all delivery vehicles, provide material and equipment deliveries throughout California, maintain a clean and organized warehouse and workspace, and assist the Warehouse Manager to manage and maintain warehouse inventory.

  • Forklift certification and comfortable loading and unloading trucks and trailers with a forklift
  • Able to confidently tow a 20' trailer
  • Familiar with the company's procedures and protocols
  • 3+ years’ of construction background
  • 3+ years' of delivery driver experience
  • Forklift experience and certificate
  • Experience towing 20' trailer and navigating construction sites
  • Can perform general physical tasks common to warehouse delivery position (lifting 80+ pounds regularly, lifting 50+ pounds overhead, kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, repetitive motion, use of hand tools)
  • Experience operating ratchet straps and ability to competently secure a load
  • Computer skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power-point, Word)
  • Possession of a valid CA Driver’s License, good driving history and dependable transportation required
  • Clean background check
  • Demonstrated past of working safely and adhering to safety standards
  • Can accommodate driving long distances regularly
  • Can accommodate extended travel to work sites and overnight stays for up to 2 days

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all delivery vehicles
  • Provide material and equipment deliveries throughout California
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and workspace
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager to manage and maintain warehouse inventory
  • Complete onboarding program in the first week which includes basic safety training and equipment training certification
  • Load and unload truck and trailer for deliveries
  • Navigate confidently to delivery destinations and transport orders safely and securely
  • Demonstrate general safety knowledge, wearing appropriate safety equipment, using tools safely and remaining accident-free
  • Test construction related tools for proper operation and maintain tool inspection safety logs
  • Communicate with team members and the Warehouse Manager multiple times a day to stay in contact and communicate progress and delivery statuses
  • Show integrity, compassion, and empathy when dealing with team members that embodies the culture at EWBI
  • Display pride in work and encourages the same work ethic in others
