QED is hiring a Warehouse Conduit-Yard Associate to join our team!
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or Three months or more related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
- Verifies and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Drives equipment to transport items within the warehouse.
- Uses computer to enter records.
- Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Sorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product code.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to customers and sales.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Verifies the product that has been picked and documents discrepancies on an error log and has correct product re-picked Confirm tickets.
- Consolidates freight for shipping.
- Load trucks for delivery to customers.
- Facilitates and distributes shipping tickets
- Verifies shipping method
- Manages delayed release tickets
- Communicates oversize loads to freight carriers
- Inspects and maintains printing equipment
- Ensures shipping routes are maintained
- Receive pipe and conduit
- Prepare pipe and conduit bundles for shipping orders
- Other duties may be assigned.
