About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing daily cycle counts, managing the receiving of inventory, and ensuring accurate maintenance of regulatory items. This role includes verifying incoming shipments, updating inventory records, and addressing discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy. At Sarnova, this role is vital in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory management. By maintaining precise inventory records, performing regular cycle counts, and addressing discrepancies, this position directly contributes to operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years’ experience in administrative clerical function
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience as a certified forklift operator
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to operate Reach Truck and Cherry Picker
  • Ability to use a computer system for tracking and package labels
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for long continuous periods of time
  • May engage in some repetitive motion
  • May engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
  • Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance; ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet
  • Ability to continuously lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 50+ pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Receives, monitors, records and validates all inventories; performs cycle count of all products
  • Compiles and maintains records of cycle counts, regulatory and kit components
  • Maintains accuracy of all counts and ensures authenticity of all information
  • Unpacks and packs items to stock on the shelves in an organized and accessible manner
  • Locates and investigates discrepancies between the stocked items and the inventory records
  • Communicates errors and discrepancies
  • Assists the manager with bin checks for order fulfillment. Examines items for defects, wear, expiration or damage
  • Complies with all appropriate compliance and safety policies and procedures
  • Serves as the liaison between Bio-Med and Customer Care to ensure loaners and service programs meet customer expectations
  • Additional job duties as assigned
