About The Position

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support material management, receiving operations, inventory documentation, and warehouse administration on large-scale power generation and energy infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for assisting with the receipt and tracking of project materials, maintaining material records, processing receiving documentation, and supporting warehouse reporting requirements. The Warehouse Clerk works closely with the Material Manager, Material Coordinator, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Construction teams to ensure material documentation is accurate, organized, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient warehouse operations and material traceability from receipt through installation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse administration, materials management, logistics, inventory control, or construction support.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to accurately process and maintain material documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
  • Regular, reliable attendance.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting industrial construction, EPC, power generation, or energy projects.
  • Familiarity with material management systems and warehouse processes.
  • Experience working with receiving documentation, packing slips, purchase orders, and material tracking systems.

  • Understanding of material receiving, MRR, and OSD&E processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving project materials and verifying receiving documentation.
  • Support the processing and tracking of incoming shipments and deliveries.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate material records and project receiving logs.
  • Coordinate documentation related to material receipts and warehouse transactions.
  • Assist with Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) uploads and Bill of Material (BOM) uploads.
  • Support material tracking activities within project material management systems.
  • Maintain electronic records associated with material receipts and inventory activities.
  • Ensure material information is accurately entered and maintained within project databases.
  • Assist with updating and distributing material status information.
  • Generate and distribute daily warehouse reports, including Purchase Order (PO) Reports, Daily Documentation Reports, Materials Receiving Report (MRR) Logs, and Overage, Shortage, Damage & Error (OSD&E) Logs.
  • Scan and upload Purchase Order and Material Contract documentation.
  • Scan and upload signed ST&S packing slips and supporting records.
  • Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
  • Support document retention and project turnover requirements.
  • Assist with generating Materials Receiving Reports (MRRs).
  • Log and track MRRs through completion and closeout.
  • Maintain receiving documentation and supporting records.
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve open receiving items.
  • Ensure receiving records are complete and auditable.
  • Assist with generating OSD&E reports.
  • Log, track, and support closeout of OSD&E items.
  • Maintain documentation associated with shipment discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and procurement personnel regarding material discrepancies.
  • Ensure supporting documentation is properly maintained and filed.
  • Follow Kiewit and project-specific safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and warehouse safety initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, logistics, procurement, quality, and construction personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
