About The Position

AccuformNMC, part of the Justrite Safety Group located in Brooksville, FL is an award-winning manufacturer of safety identification products including signs, labels, shadow boards and much, much more. AccuformNMC is a progressive company with a focus on industrial safety space. This role is for the 2nd shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., with an hourly rate of $16.50 plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to organize, set priorities, meet deadlines and perform multi-tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Good reading, spelling and comprehension skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have a good understanding of basic math functions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to take accurate measurements using rulers, tapes, gauges, and other tools
• Ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Ability to meet daily production goals.
• Must be able to meet production demands in a fast-paced environment and work Monday-Friday production shift hours with mandatory overtime, including Saturdays.
• Must be punctual and have good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counts
• Quality inspections
• Replenish inventory
• Coordinate consolidation of inventory for specific accounts, label and prepare for shipment.
• Fulfill customer orders, pull inventory, and package for shipment.
• Report work orders utilizing Smart Bin, AME/Frontier.
• Uses Frontier programs to monitor inventory and balance accounts.
• Tracks and logs product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies.
• Inspects orders being received and shipped, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.
• Ensure that the quantity and description of the product being shipped matches the customer’s order.
• Reports and returns damaged product.
• Palletize orders for shipment.
• Operates forklift or other machinery required for transporting large orders and heavy products.
• Participate in cross-training within and outside of home department; includes learning various machines/equipment; train others through sharing of knowledge and skill.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep works areas clean and free of debris; to include basic recycling of materials.
• Dispose of hazardous and all other waste materials in accordance with regulatory policy and procedure.
• Report all unsafe activities to Plant Manager, Safety Director or Human Resources.
• Comply with all safety and environmental rules, regulations and guidelines, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required to support the company's mission, values and goals.
