About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, system audits, and using inventory and warehouse management systems to prepare and track materials and products for shipping and receiving needs. In some facilities, the role may also perform inventory control and shipping/receiving duties. The position helps meet customer needs while maintaining a clean, orderly, safe, and inspection-ready work area. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Check and prepare order materials for shipping and assist with loading shipments as needed.
• Maintain shipping and receiving records and order forms.
• Create shipping labels and documentation for outbound products, including international shipments.
• Enter data into inventory and warehouse management systems.
• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits, and prepare inventory reports.
• Verify clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Keep the facility inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report incidents to a supervisor.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
