About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. This role involves receiving, inspecting, and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting the logistics and supply chain processes by adhering to standard operating procedures and company policies to ensure compliance and consistency in warehouse operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in receiving, inspecting, and ensuring accuracy and quality standards in warehouse operations.
Proficiency in stocking and organizing inventory efficiently.
Experience in picking and packing orders with attention to detail.
Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Experience in conducting inventory counts and audits.
Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures and company policies to ensure compliance and consistency in warehouse operations.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks repeatedly throughout the shift.
Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurately counting and recording inventory.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Certification or willingness to obtain certification for operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred, but not required.
