Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate and box truck
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely (training provided)
  • HS diploma or comparable work experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable with computers and basic data entry
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform warehouse physical tasks

Responsibilities

  • Transporting materials, work in process (WIP), and finished goods between STC’s three buildings safely, efficiently and in alignment with scheduled or on-demand needs.
  • Supporting warehouse operations through cycle counting, ERP transaction accuracy, general material handling, and production support tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory, timely material flow, and strong communications between departments.
  • Safely operating a company box truck to move materials, WIP, Packaging, and finished goods between all STC locations.
  • Following scheduled transfer routes and responding to same day or urgent transport needs as directed by supervisors.
  • Loading and unloading materials using forklift, pallet jacks, or by hand as needed.
  • Ensuring all transfer documentation, including ERP/Visual transactions is completed accurately.
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness, conducting regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and reporting maintenance needs immediately.
  • Performing routine cycle counts to support accurate inventory management.
  • Investigating count discrepancies and communicating findings to supervisor or inventory control personnel.
  • Assisting and identifying root causes of stock variances and improving material flow accuracy.
  • Helping maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe traffic flow.
  • Participating in receiving tasks, including inbound shipments and staging materials.
  • Coordinating transport and warehouse activities with Production workers, Supervisors, and Maintenance personnel.
  • Communicating delays, shortages or issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
