About The Position

Performs a variety of receiving clerk and general warehouse functions, including processing the Casino’s mail and maintaining office, mailroom, and/or other Company equipment. This role also performs general clerical functions. The position involves receiving product deliveries, inspecting goods, monitoring food products, pulling inventory, delivering goods, coordinating returns, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, processing receiving documentation, and conducting physical inventories. Additionally, on a rotating basis, the role provides internal and external USPS mail services, processes shipping requests, prepares and meters mail, conducts mail runs, sorts and delivers mail, tracks shipments, and maintains mailroom equipment and supplies. Support is also provided for forms management, including ordering, stocking, and assisting with record storage.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year mailroom experience
  • One (1) year warehouse or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • High security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission
  • Must possess current Food Handlers certification or able to obtain one within 90 days of employment
  • Forklift certification and/or experience is required
  • Must successfully pass physical capacity testing (pre-employment physical)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid State of Oregon Driver’s License is required
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, equipment, methods of operation, and safety protocols
  • Knowledge of receiving principles, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including proper handling, storage, and safety practices
  • Knowledge of receiving documentation and automated inventory control systems
  • Knowledge of MICS and Regs regarding treatment of secured items
  • Knowledge of corporate wide office hours of operation and receiving policies & procedures
  • Knowledge of mailroom operations, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of United State Postal Service regulations
  • Knowledge of standards governing the processing of mail
  • Knowledge of mailroom equipment and methods of operation
  • Knowledge of general office equipment and standard computer software applications

Responsibilities

  • Receives product deliveries and unloads supply trucks, inspecting goods for compliance to quality standards.
  • Compares items ordered to purchase order and vendor invoice, noting discrepancies and resolving them.
  • Monitors food products received, taking temperatures and weighing product as required, and storing items in designated warehouse areas.
  • Pulls inventory from storage locations to fill orders for Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Stacks and organizes product to prevent damage and ensure stability.
  • Delivers and distributes various types of goods to departments and/or users.
  • Receives and delivers secured items according to compliance regulations.
  • Coordinates return of merchandise to vendor ensuring proper documentation for credit due.
  • Keeps the warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and rotated.
  • Performs minimal maintenance within warehouse facilities and requests assistance from Facilities as needed.
  • Processes, prepares, and maintains receiving documentation, including transfer entries into Eatec.
  • Audits documents to ensure accuracy in recording transactions.
  • Conducts physical inventories and assists in maintaining adequate supply levels.
  • Provides internal and external USPS mail services to the Casino.
  • Provides internal distribution of priority envelopes, parcels, and packages.
  • Processes shipping requests for UPS, FedEx, and DHL-Airborne.
  • Processes and meters direct mail pieces for Marketing.
  • Processes and meters bulk mail as well as metering and mail services for various departments.
  • Conducts morning, afternoon, and/or evening mail runs.
  • Drops off and retrieves mail from the post office, Casino mailrooms and the Human Resources Department.
  • Sorts and delivers envelopes, packages, and correspondence.
  • Tracks shipped items and sends delivery confirmations to senders.
  • Monitors and maintains mailroom equipment and supplies; orders office supplies.
  • Places all orders for copier paper and schedules distribution drops at copiers upon receipt.
  • Provides support for Forms and Retention Administrator forms management.
  • Orders and stocks all forms in mailroom areas and maintains hard copy, master copy folders.
  • Assists Forms and Retention Administrator with movement and storage of administration records.
