Warehouse Clerk (contract-to-hire)
About The Position
Toray Advanced Composites (TAC) is a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace, sporting goods, motorsport, and industrial markets. Our thermoset composite products are found on nearly every satellite, space launch vehicle, unmanned aircraft, military and commercial aircraft in production today. TAC also provides composites materials to industrial and recreational applications including mountain bikes, medical prosthetics, and sports equipment. Our thermoplastic prepregs, known in the industry as Cetex®, are found in a wide range of commercial and military aircraft, including large wing structures and interior applications like seats and galleys. Our Cetex products are available in unidirectional tape or fabric form in a variety of engineered thermoplastic resins including PEEK, PPS, PEI as well as a full line of performance thermoplastics including Nylon, PET, PC/ABS, HDPE, and PP.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment preferred, previous experience supporting a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Must be familiar with computer systems including MS Office and data base systems (FileMaker Pro and AX preferred)
- Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbally) in English
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work with all levels of the company
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift
- Maintain work areas in neat, orderly and safe manner
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Unload deliveries and stage for receiving inspection or put-away
- Stock inventory onto proper shelf locations
- Practice FIFO inventory issuance
- Pick inventory for transfer to production or shipment to customers or vendors
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Research missing inventory/materials and report any discrepancies
- Assist warehouse, shipping and receiving personnel with day-to-day activities as needed
- Perform data entry as required
