Warehouse Clerk/ Van driver
About The Position
This is a regular, full-time position with a daytime schedule, Monday to Friday. The role involves working with a known customer base and offers opportunities for advancement. Requirements
- Experience with delivery work.
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5).
- Good people skills and enjoys having a personal relationship with customers.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Due regard for safe working practices.
Responsibilities
- Make note of the day’s scheduled deliveries and deadlines.
- Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure that the delivery route and load organization are fully optimized.
- Be proactive and deal with route and itinerary changes.
- Make sure that everything has been delivered to the customer’s satisfaction before leaving the premises.
- Assist warehouse personnel in order to be able to deliver the orders on time.
