About The Position

ABM is hiring a reliable and experienced Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in buildings and facilities. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties as needed. The listed pay is $17.25 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. The schedule is either Monday through Thursday or Friday through Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The role may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, and service and restock them with necessary supplies.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Follow proper procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management when building systems need repairs or additions.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
