About The Position

The Warehouse Cleaner maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards at the building and facilities at 4054 Powell Drive in Shawnee, Kansas. The role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, at $16.45 per hour. The position may be suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. ABM encourages veterans and candidates with military experience to apply.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, an essential responsibility, and restock them with necessary supplies.
Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Follow proper procedures when using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management of needed repairs or additions to building systems.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
